Community Relations Director
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
- Promote Membership Growth and Retention: Engage with potential members, encourage membership renewal, and help identify new opportunities for value-added member benefits to support membership growth and retention.
- Engage with Members and the Public: Act as a primary contact for members and the community, addressing inquiries, providing resources, and encouraging participation in Chamber activities and events.
- Plan and Execute Member Events: Organize and oversee community-focused events, including networking functions, member appreciation activities, and public outreach events to enhance Chamber visibility and engagement.
- Build and Maintain Community Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with local businesses, government entities, nonprofits, and community leaders to support collaborative initiatives and strengthen the Chamber’s network.
- Develop and Implement Marketing and Public Relations Strategies: Create and execute communication plans promoting Chamber programs, events, and community impact.
- Advocate for Community and Economic Development: Support initiatives that promote local economic development, retail recruitment, and workforce development to strengthen the local economy.
- Represent the Chamber in the Community: Act as an ambassador at events, meetings, and other public forums, enhancing the Chamber’s reputation and fostering positive relationships.
- Support Public Policy and Advocacy Efforts: Collaborate with Chamber leadership on public policy and advocacy initiatives, representing the business community's interests at local government and community meetings.
- Manage Community Outreach Programs: Coordinate programs and initiatives that address community needs and demonstrate the Chamber’s commitment to social responsibility.
