Members of the 2018-2019 Adult Leadership Obion County class have been busy learning about legislation, economic and community development.

During Economic and Community Development Day, the class met with Lindsay Frilling; John Burpo, Texas Gas; Titan Tire; the Everett Stewart Regional Airport; Chuck Doss, Regional Transportation Assets; and Jon Ed Powers, Final Flight Outfitters.

Legislative Day gave the class the opportunity to learn more about the state legislature by touring the capitol and meeting with Senator John Stevens, Commissioner Parker, Secretary Tre Hargett and Representative Bill Sanderson. The group also took pictures with Governor Bill Lee before meeting with the Judiciary Committee.
