We are excited to announce that former U.S. Representative for Tennessee's 8th Congressional District, John Tanner, will be delivering our keynote speech followed by our 2018 awards presentation.

Award Nominations Being Accepted
2018 Ambassador of the Year: Recognizing a Chamber Ambassador who is a community leader who donates his or her time to Obion County Chamber activities and events.
2018 Board Member of the Year: Presented to the board member who put forth extraordinary efforts on behalf of the Obion County Chamber of Commerce.
2018 Young Professional of the Year: Presented to a YPOC Member that works in Obion County and has showed professional success and outstanding community involvement.
2018 Business Partner of the Year: Presented to a business or organization in Obion County who has gone above and beyond to be a community partner, be it donating time, money, or resources.
2018 You Made It Happen Award: Recognizing a community leader who donates his or her time to Obion County Chamber activities and other community events or to a business owner/manager who best exemplifies their generosity in giving time, money, staff, and/or facility for community benefit.
2018 Agriculture Business of the Year: This award recognizes our county's agriculture achievement. This could be an agriculture business in Obion County or local farmer/agriculturist.
2018 Business of the Year: Presented to a business in Obion County, new or old, who has over 20 employees. This business must be in good standing with the Obion County Chamber of Commerce.
2018 Small Business of the Year: Presented to a business with 20 employees or less who is a member of the Obion County Chamber of Commerce.
2018 Industry of the Year: Presented to an industry who has invested large workforce efforts in Obion County to continue job creation and community prosperity.
- Must be a member in good standing of Obion County Chamber of Commerce and/or the Obion County Industrial Development Corporation.
- Must be in business in Obion County. Recipient must work in Obion County.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to good and ethical business practices.
- Must demonstrate innovation in products or services.
- Must demonstrate community leadership and involvement.
- Must maintain a responsible and rewarding workplace environment, reflecting training and motivation of employees.
- Must demonstrate extraordinary customer service.
Tell us WHY you are nominating this business, industry, and/or educator (you can nominate one in each category): history of the business, its contributions to our community, extraordinary customer service, dedication, innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, etc.
