UNION CITY, Tenn. — The Masquerade Theatre is proud to announce it has received a Spark Good Local Grant from the Union City Walmart Supercenter to support the organization’s ongoing efforts to renovate the historic Capitol Theatre into a state-of-theart performing arts center serving Northwest Tennessee.
The grant represents an important investment in the future of the arts and the continued revitalization of downtown Union City. Funding from the Spark Good program will help support renovation efforts, community programming, educational opportunities, and live productions that make the performing arts accessible and engaging for audiences of all ages.

The Capitol Theatre renovation project aims to transform the historic venue into a modern performing arts destination while preserving the character and history of one of Union City’s treasured landmarks. Once completed, the space will serve as a hub for live theatre, music, educational programming, special events, and community engagement throughout the region.
