During WestStar's Nashville session, class members stepped into the heart of state government and public policy for two days of learning, conversation, and leadership development.
The class began with a welcome and discussions on public policy and community development before engaging in a legislative panel that provided insight into the work of Tennessee lawmakers and the decision-making processes that impact communities across the state. Class members also explored the role of higher education systems in Tennessee and learned how organizations like the Tennessee Valley Authority help support economic growth and regional development.
