Dynamix Physical Therapy was started by two friends, Heath Ladd of Newbern and Russ Huffstetler of Greenfield, in 2009.

They both wanted to make a difference in patient and clinical care, focusing on finding the root of the problem causing the pain instead of just treating the symptoms and adding specialized treatment techniques unique to this region.

From humble beginnings, they have grown Dynamix from one clinic to 14 clinics throughout West Tennessee and will continue to grow their practice to share these life-changing skills with their patients. In 2022, Dynamix was named the "Ascend National Practice of the Year" and recognized as an Inc. 5000 company for the third year, meaning it is one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States.

Dynamix serves as outpatient orthopedics, and the company has a strong team of certified athletic trainers covering over 20 schools for all sporting events, including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, and volleyball. ATCs play an extremely important role in sports medicine.

Dynamix employs 160+ company-wide, with the Union City office employing 12+. Matt Washburn is the clinic director for Dynamix in Union City.
