Leaders has existed as a company since 1957 and came to Union City in 2010. They employ seven people at the Union City branch, which AVP Branch Operations, Nick Wisdom, run.

Leaders is a not-for-profit organization, meaning they are a cooperative financial institution fully owned by the members and operate for their benefit. They won Chamber Business of the Year in 2021 and are among Tennessee's top 10% strongest credit unions!
