For their July meeting, members of Young Professionals of Obion County gathered at the Chamber on the evening of July 25. Jennifer McClure with Simmons Bank gave a presentation titled "How to be appealing to employers during the hiring process." Food and Drinks were provided by Simmons Bank.
For their June meeting, members of Young Professionals of Obion County came out to Hometown Walk of Hope on June 8. The group sold V.I.P. wristbands at the gate in an effort to raise money for Walk of Hope. Those who purchased the wristbands received discounts on food and were entered in a drawing to win front row seats to the Darryl Worley concert later that night. YPOC was able to raise over $1000 for Hometown Walk of Hope.
The Young Professionals of Obion County met on May 30 at The Pavilion at Houser Creek. Representative Bill Sanderson provided a legislative update and encouraged the group to stay informed about local and state government because of the vital role it plays in their everyday lives.
