510 new jobs created with $39.5 million dollar investment for Obion County
Construction work has begun for the new Baptist Medical Group-The Doctors' Clinic, which is scheduled to open mid-October 2014. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 28.
State Farm Agent Phyllis Edwards recently held a ribbon cutting and is now open for business. Employees include: Teresa Dragg, Mike Edwards and Phillip Dunlap.

A ribbon cutting was held recently for Union City's newest beauty salon-Salon Utopia.
The new salon is located in Suite B at 128 E. Main St. in Union City.
Salon Utopia is owned and operated by Hannah Duncan and Stephanie Quinn and is open Mondays through Saturdays.
Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam recently announced that 9to5 Seating will relocate their manufacturing operations to Union City, Tennessee. The total investment of $39.5 million will create 510 new jobs over the next five years in Obion County.
