Adult Leadership Obion County class of 2020

The Adult Leadership Obion County class of 2020 completed 7 of their 9 sessions before the Coronavirus pandemic, meaning they met the requirements to graduate from the program.

Director Phyllis Rauchle stated, "I'm happy to say they met the required sessions to graduate. We hope to have a graduation ceremony this summer to recognize their accomplishments as well as to commend them on the class project. We are so proud of the 20 class members and their commitment to be great leaders in our community. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors of the participants, sessions and feeding us breakfast and lunch at each session.

In reg ard to the 2020-2021 Obion County Adult Leadership Class, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the upcoming class. Board president Tyler Hayes stated, " It is with lots of thought and consideration that the Adult Leadership Obion County Board of Directors has decided to cancel the upcoming Leadership Class for the class of 2020 – 2021. Due to an unparalleled number of uncertainties, we feel this decision is in the best interest of the potential class members, participating businesses, the board of directors, others involved, and really all of Obion County. Please know that we fully intend to resume with the class of 2021 – 2022 and will provide updates when necessary. Thank you for understanding."
