What made you become active in the Chamber?
The Chamber has provided me an opportunity for networking inside the county's business community. It has also provided me a chance to volunteer my time to other non-profit organizations for the benefit of Obion County and Union City.

Why do you serve on the Board of Directors?
I believe the Board of Directors are a great mix of business professionals working together for the betterment of our community in which we serve. I feel that I can provide a new voice since I grew up in Dyer County and have lived in a couple of larger cities; Brooklyn, NY and Chattanooga, TN

What is the Chamber's role in the business community?
The Chamber should help network local businesses through sponsored events such as open houses and ribbon cuttings. It should also help promote local small businesses through shared media. For example, the use of the chamber's local website for social media and website links as well as the chambers extensive list of email contacts.

What piece of advice would you give a business that is thinking about joining the Chamber?
The chamber is great way to get your business involved in the community which will lead to both professional and personal associations with local individuals. It is also a great tool for cultivating future customers and relationships with other businesses in the area.
