On Tuesday, March 23rd, there was an After Hours celebration held at Historic Ann's 1893 in honor of 31 Under 31 recipients. The "31 Under 31" initiative highlights 31 professionals under the age of 31 in Obion County.
The next appointment with V.I.B.E. will be on Tuesday, March 16 at 12 PM at the Obion County Library.

Throughout the month of March, we will be highlighting young professionals under the age of 31 in Obion County through social media.
In 2020, Obion County used CARES Act funding to promote a "Happy Healthy Holiday" in northwest Tennessee. This funding was given to tourism organizations throughout the state of Tennessee. During this year's 2-day Blizzard conference hosted by Hospitality TN, one of the sessions was focused on CARES funding and how organizations across the state used this funding to better promote their area during Q4.
We are gearing up for the Annual Chamber Golf Tournament on April 23rd.
I had the privilege of visiting the Promethean Foundation and speaking with the wonderful people who make everything happen! The very first thing I noticed as we began talking was that they have a strong passion for what they do.

Union City, Tenn. – Discovery Park of America has named Sue Ellen Morris as the 2020 Volunteer of the Year. Morris, an attorney from Hickman County, Ky., began volunteering in early 2020 at Discovery Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that depends on volunteers to implement its mission in a variety of ways.
Union City, Tenn. -- Accounting firm Alexander Thompson Arnold PLLC (ATA) recently announced an acquisition of Center Point Business Solutions. Center Point will become a full-service Professional Employer Organization (PEO) known as ATA Employment Solutions (ATAES), effective Jan. 1, 2021.
