In 2020, Obion County used CARES Act funding to promote a "Happy Healthy Holiday" in northwest Tennessee. This funding was given to tourism organizations throughout the state of Tennessee. During this year's 2-day Blizzard conference hosted by Hospitality TN, one of the sessions was focused on CARES funding and how organizations across the state used this funding to better promote their area during Q4.

I had the privilege of visiting the Promethean Foundation and speaking with the wonderful people who make everything happen! The very first thing I noticed as we began talking was that they have a strong passion for what they do.

Union City, Tenn. – Discovery Park of America has named Sue Ellen Morris as the 2020 Volunteer of the Year. Morris, an attorney from Hickman County, Ky., began volunteering in early 2020 at Discovery Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that depends on volunteers to implement its mission in a variety of ways.
